This module converts power supply voltage and signal voltage such as I2C, UART, etc.
It has Grove-compatible and Qwiic-compatible connectors.
It allows bidirectional connection of 3.3V system and 5V system.
It supports the following 4 voltage conversion patterns.
Pattern | Master side | Slave side | Example | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Power | Signal | Power | Signal | ||
① | 5V | 5V | 3.3V | 3.3V | Arduino Uno → Qwiic Module |
② | 5V | 3.3V | 3.3V | 3.3V | M5Stack Core2 → Qwiic Module |
③ | 3.3V | 3.3V | 5V | 3.3V | Raspberry Pi → M5Stack Unit |
④ | 3.3V | 3.3V | 5V | 5V | Raspberry Pi → Grove Module(5V) |
Connect the master and slave devices by setting jumper caps for each pattern of power supply and signal voltages on the master and slave sides as shown below.
