Programmer adapter for PicoPD
Enable fast charge for your phone while using Android Auto or Car Play. Reduce charge time and phone temperature. Require user to have a car charger that support USB-C to USB-C Power Delivery. If your charger has USB-C output, it should support Power Delivery (PD)
Allow power down for AAWireless with USB port with always-on functionality. Spliting the power supply to a normal USB port that will turn off with your car while allow data to pass through from AAWireless to your head-unit. Require your AAWireless to have USB-C connector.
Recommend cable:
Note: Recommend data path length is equal for less than 6ft (1.8 meter) to maintain signal integrity. Example is 3ft + 3ft cable. Do not use USB-A for power and combined.
Design
Case material: PETG - Good up to 70C or 158F for automotive use in mild summer month.
There are also 2x 5.1K termination resistors on CC1/CC2 of the Data port to trigger 5V from the host if required. However, this 5V will not be passed through the Combined port.

This adapter will not work with IPhone 15/16
Note: Due to the design of the USB-C Receptacle. You might have to rotate the Power plug to have a connection. Do not mix 5A cable and 3A cable for PD, this can cause your 3A cable to fail if pulling too much current.
Which AndroidAuto wireless adapter will work?
We have had positive report on AAWireless which has USB-C input. No USB-A wireless adapter has been tested or report working from our customers.
Why I got slow charge or no charge at all?
Try to rotate the power USB-C head by 180 degree at the adapter. Also make sure that you are using USB-C to USB-C for all cables. USB-A will not work in this application.
