【SIM808 GPRS/GSM+GPS Shield】Integrates GSM and GPS function models and is based on SIMCOM's GSM/GPS technology SIM808. It supports quad-band GSM/GPRS networks and uses GPS technology to achieve accurate satellite navigation.
【Powerful functions】Integrated GPS/CNSS, supports Bluetooth-compatible, can perform basic call tasks, can send and receive SMS messages, and transmit data through GPRS
【Wide Compatibility】Compatible with a variety of development boards such as Arduino Uno, Leonardo and Mega.
SIM808 GPRS/GSM+GPS Shield is a GSM and GPS two-in-one function module. It is based on the latest GSM/GPS module SIM808 from SIMCOM, supports GSM/GPRS Quad-Band network and combines GPS technology for satellite navigation. It has high GPS receive sensitivity with 22 tracking and 66 acquisition receiver channels. It has tandard 4-pole TRRS headphone jack so that you can use any 'Android' or 'iPhone'-compatible headset with mic. Also breakouts for external 32Ω speaker and electret mic if you don't want to use a headphone
This module can do just about everything, like make and receive voice calls using a headset or an external 32Ω speaker+electret microphone, send and receive SMS messages or send and receive GPRS data (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.).
Now we have developed a new function for this board, it's become a GSM/GPS/Bluetooth-compatible three-in-one function module. We improve our versions by upgrading Bluetooth-compatible firmware. The new AT command for Bluetooth-compatible also has been upgraded in the wiki.
And if you want to update your old version Sim808 shield, we also provide tutorial and component / antenna that you need.
