RS485 MODULE
With this module you can communicate your Arduino through RS485, achieving distances much greater than TTL and RS232. Supports Modbus and DMX.
This module allows you to build a RS485 to Serial TTL interface. The RS485 protocol is an industrial protocol widely used for its robustness, easy implementation and good performance. Using RS485 as physical layer it is possible to implement an industrial fieldbus type MODBUS and DMX for the control of lights.
The RS485 protocol is defined as a differential multipoint transmission bus system, it is ideal for transmitting at high speeds over long distances (35 Mbit / s up to 10 meters and 100 kbit / s in 1200 meters) and through noisy channels, since reduces the noises that appear in the voltages produced in the transmission line. The physical transmission medium is an interlaced pair that supports up to 32 stations in a single wire, with a maximum length of 1200 meters operating between 300 and 19,200 bit / s and half-duplex (half-duplex) communication.
