Story

This is a basic endpoint for my modular lighting rig (the basestation is in another post).

This is meant to be used in various ways, such as how Super Valid Designs' modular lighting rig works.

It connects to the basestation using standard RJ45 cables, or USB-B cables, this allows for flexibility with installation.

There is a 3 pin header, for connecting to the LED light strip, which then connects to the data pin assigned on the Arduino Nano within the basestation.

If you only want to use the RJ45 cable as an extension, you can use two of the "endpoints" together, and the pinout will remain the same.

The pinout is as follows,

1 - 5V

2- 5V

3 - BLANK

4 - Data

5 - Data

6- BLANK

7- GND

8 - GND

I am excited to see what people make with this.

I hope to release a few clips on YouTube of the rig in action.

Have a great day!
