Story
You can turn this board into a tiny game controller.
Features 2-axis joystick and 5 momentary buttons (4 large buttons and 1 small button)
Communicates with your host microcontroller via I2C. Easy to use and doesn't take up any of your valuable analog or digital pins
There's an optional interrupt pin that alerts your feathers when the button is pressed or released, freeing up processor time to perform other tasks.
Prepare
this controller
header strip
bread board
Insert header strip
Insert header strip into a breadboard. Cut the strip to length if necessary. It will be easier to solder if you insert it into a breadboard - long pins down
Add this controller
Place this controller over the pins so that the short pins poke through the two rows of breakout pads
Solder
Be sure to solder all pins for reliable electrical contact.
Then flip over and solder the other row completely
