Story
Hello everyone,
I'm excited to share my project, the "Electronic Voting Machine." This device is designed to facilitate voting and count votes electronically, saving time and effort compared to manual counting. Currently, it’s a small prototype with potential for further development with additional funding. The security system is suitable for private votes but would need further enhancement for use in public elections.
As shown in the schematic, the machine uses an EEPROM IC, which acts as external memory for enhanced security. In the event of a malfunction, the EEPROM can be transferred to another machine, ensuring that vote data remains accessible. Additionally, a security system protects vote information; users must enter a secret code to access data, and there are only five attempts allowed before the machine locks.
Although this is an initial prototype, it can be enhanced significantly with funding. To see it in action, click on the video link below and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you!
