Story
1.Stackable headers for Arduino Uno R3 package. The header mount can be mounted on the pin closest to the edge of the board.
2.Solderless Mini-Breadboard. You can put everything together. Peel off the adhesive on the mini breadboard, align it with the silkscreen, and stack it up
3.Solderable-Like Breadboard. After prototyping the circuit on the mini breadboard, you can choose to solder the circuit directly to the board.
4.ICSP (MISO, MOSI and SCK NC). If you don't want to remove the shield every time you need the ICSP pins, or if you decide to stack another shield on top of the ProtoShield, the pins will break. You need to add two 1x3 stackable headers.
5.There are several locations on the outside of the board for power and ground. Includes 5V Rail, VDD Rail (NC), GND Rail
6.Reset Button. Like other Arduino shields, the reset button has been rerouted.
7.Software Serial UART Port.
The pins are arranged in such a way as to connect to our BlueSMiRF if you decide to go wireless.
If you decide that you want to connect a different serial UART device (i.e. a UART-to-serial device like the FTDI Basic Breakout) or use different pins for serial, we added closed jumpers on the back. Simply cut the traces and reroute the connection by adding wires to the headers.
8.Prototyping Hardware. Includes 3mm LEDs (NC), Momentary Pushbutton (NC)
