Description

Raspberry Pi Pico W is the RP2040 with wireless. It's a Raspberry Pi Pico with built-in wireless and best of all, it has the same 40-pin assignments, dimensions, and toothed-edge PCB as the Raspberry Pi Pico. If you need to upgrade your product with wireless or IoT, the Raspberry Pi Pico W is a drop-in replacement for the Raspberry Pi Pico!

Of course, the Raspberry Pi Pico W can use for physical computing projects. It can control anything from small electronics to LEDs and motors, read information from sensors, or communicate with other microcontrollers.

Like the Raspberry Pi Pico, the Raspberry Pi Pico W is based on the chip RP2040. The RP2040 is a feature-rich microcontroller with two 32-bit ARM Cortex M0+ processor cores (dual core). Flexible clock, but configurable up to 133MHz max speed! This tiny MCU features up to 264 KB of SRAM, an external Quad-SPI of 2 MB, and Execute-In-Place (XIP). The large RAM and flash size enable you to write high-level programming languages such as MicroPython and CircuitPython for the Raspberry Pi Pico W.

gpio pin definition of raspberry pi pico w

Note:  The Raspberry Pi Pico W GPIOs run at 3.3VDC. The maximum voltage that the I/O pin can tolerate is 3.3V. Applying voltages higher than 3.3V to any I/O pin could DAMAGE the board.
