Description

LoRaWan technology is a new and increasingly in-demand technology that has been widely applied in the field of the Internet of Things, especially in the industrial and agricultural sectors. This latest design of a single-channel gateway is the best initial device choice for learning and accessing Lorawan networks. It is designed to provide internet connectivity for our Lora series products.

It uses ESP32-WROOM-32 as the main controller, with Ra-01H module as the Lora RF transceiver module, and has two firmware versions available for different frequency bands (868MHz and 915MHz). The ESP-WROOM-32 itself supports WiFi and Ethernet interfaces and can connect to the TTN backend network to enable gateway settings and data transmission monitoring.

It supports Lorawan 1.0.3 and is compatible with other Lorawan sensors. When combined with sensor nodes and The Things Network cloud control panel, it can form a complete Lorawan sensor acquisition system.

In addition, we have equipped it with a 1.8-inch resistive touch screen with a resolution of 128x160, which uses an SPI interface. With this touch screen, it is more convenient to observe the gateway's data transmission status, check the IP data obtained by the gateway, etc. This module is powered and programmed through a Type-C interface, and it also has red and blue indicator lights showing its working and data transmission status. Equipped with the 2.5Dbi antenna, it can achieve a communication distance of up to 1.5km in unobstructed and interference-free environments. Even in urban areas, the farthest distance can reach 0.7 km. Replacing the antenna with a higher gain one can achieve even longer communication distances. This device comes with an acrylic shell that not only has a small and exquisite design but also serves as a protective cover.

LoRaWan Gateway Module can be used with LoRa node modules, LoRa development boards, and other devices to build a LoRa WAN IoT network, providing a reliable communication solution for applications in smart homes, industry, and agriculture control, among others.
