Glitch Storm is an exploratory synth that produces a plethora of blips and blops ranging for chords, techno rhythms to alien soundscapes and FXs.
This is a fully assembled unit.
Glitch Storm 2025 has new features over the MKII.
-Rate Factor. It produces more rich and complex sounds over the classic bytebeats.
-Conversion Multiplier. Produce recombinations over the program that the user is playing.
-Clock in. Permits to sync with external gear.
It also has an analogic clock out so you can sync external gear with.
It has quite advanced and unique takes over the classic bytebeats therefore this time is closed source.
It has also an experimental port of Mutable Instruments "GRIDS" that runs on the Glitch Storm MK2 too. It has 4 outputs instead of 3 and some other differences.
I recommend to get another arduino nano v3 and flash it there, so you can change the firmware inserting the "GLITCHSTORM 2025" microcontroller or the "Glitched Grids" one.
Glitch Storm is an exploratory synth that can be build and soldered even for total beginners. It produces a plethora of blips and blops ranging for chords, techno rhythms to alien soundscapes and FXs.
At its core is a Bytebeat synth but this one is interactive and goes way beyond that classic bytebeats can achieve. You play it tuning into frequencies and soundscapes. You have six dimensions in it to explore instead the GS MKII that has four.
The unit is able to be played as a standalone or in the context of one studio or modular.
Glitch Storm 2025 ships with no tracking number, so if you absolutely need one, please contact me before to arrange it.
You can see the video introduction here. Sooun will arrive the new audio demos. (The one of the video uses the MKII version)
