we encountered an issue where the internal wifi had an IP address of 192.168.1.1 that was the same of the customer gateway. This made the device not able to resolve dns as it was always going back to the internal interface. Setting the wifi to dhcp client instead solved the issue. I suggest you change the default to something less used than 192.168.1.x/24 but use something like 192.168.32.x/24 instead as not many internet routers are configured that way in this case it would be easy to just plug an play
