What is Crowbits-Magnetic Switch

Crowbits-Magnetic Switch is a digital input module, it is an electrical switch activated by the magnetic field, it can be used to detect the magnetic field.

As we mentioned before, the magnetic switch will be trigged by a magnet, use it together with output modules, such as LED. Approach the magnet to the magnetic switch to see what will happen.

How does it work?

The magnetic consists of a pair of ferromagnetic flexible metal reeds contacts in a hermetically sealed glass envelope. The contacts are normally open, it becomes closed when the magnetic field approaches it. The interface of the magnetic switch is a digital interface, it outputs logic low-level and high-level two states.

1. When the magnetic switch closes to a magnetic field, it will output a logic high-level signal.

2. Otherwise, when there is no magnet around the magnetic switch, it will output a logic low-level signal.
