What is Crowbits-Flame Sensor?
Crowbits-Flame Sensor is a digital input module, it’s designed to detect the flame, which is widely used in a flame detection device.
How does it work?
The main component of the flame sensor module is a flame sensor, the flame sensor detects infrared light with a wavelength ranging from 0.7 to 1.1μm. The interface of the flame sensor module is a digital interface, it outputs logic low-level and high-level two states.
1. When the flame sensor detects the fire, the internal resistance of the flame sensor decreases, then it outputs a logic high-level signal.
2. Otherwise, when there is no fire, the flame sensor outputs a logic low-level signal.
Use cases
Flame sensors can be used to detect fire or extreme heat. You can put it at multiple locations both hot and cold and see if it can trigger the sensor or not.
Tips
Be careful when using the flame sensor to detect the flame
Don’t use the flame sensor in the sunlight or the strong warm light environment to avoid interferences
