What is it?
A RGB matrix panel with 512 bright RGB LEDs arranged in 16 rows and 32 columns. Row and column driver circuits are built on the back side of the matrix panel. The data and control signal pins are accessible through a HUB75 (8x2 IDC) connector. It requires 12 digital I/O pins of Arduino Uno for full color control. The display module also comes with a RGB connector shield for Arduino Uno and necessary cables for easy wiring between the RGB panel and the Arduino board.
RGB Matrix Panel Features:
Operates at 5V (2A rated power supply is recommended)
Dimensions are 192mm x 96mm (7.6”X3.8”)
LED spacing or pitch : 6mm
Compatible with Adafruit’s RGBMatrixPanel Library
RGB connector shield and cables are included (no additional wires are needed for connecting the matrix to Arduino Uno)
The RGB connector shield also features the DS1307 RTC chip on board along with a CR1220 coin-cell battery holder. The I2C pins of the DS1307 chip are pre-wired to A4 and A5 pins of the shield.
What will you get in the package?
One 16x32 RGB LED matrix panel
One RGB connector shield (for Arduino Uno or compatible board) with RTC chip on board
One IDC cable to connect the RGB matrix panel to the RGB shield
One power supply connector for the RGB matrix
Note: The DC power supply adapter is not included. It requires a 5V, 2A power supply with a 2.1mm x 5.5mm power plug connector.
